Make the item easy to inspect
Use your own clear photos in even light with an uncluttered background. Show the actual item, included accessories and important labels where appropriate. Photograph defects rather than hiding them with filters or angles. Do not copy another seller's images or use stock photos to disguise condition.
Put the facts first
Name the item accurately, including model, size and condition. State what is included and excluded, what was tested and any known defects. Avoid keyword stuffing and unsupported claims of authenticity, rarity or professional refurbishment. If you cannot authenticate a branded item, do not imply certainty.
Explain the transaction
Set out shipping method, handling expectations, returns and pickup arrangements consistent with platform rules and applicable law. A description cannot override mandatory consumer protections. Use dimensions and weight you measured, not an estimate that may create shipping problems later.
Review before publishing
Check photos for home addresses, personal papers, reflections and location clues. Remove identifiers that should not be public while retaining what is necessary for an honest description. Keep communication on the platform when its protections require it. Answer questions factually and update the listing when a material detail changes.
